Hario Buono Drip Kettle Review

I used a regular pot with a spout to 3 months before I bought this kettle. Let me tell you why the boiler is higher to pay many times with one pot:

No matter how careful you are, while water from a vase, the river has to travel a long way and is very brutal your coffee grounds. I can not tell you how many times I have spoken, because something went wrong with my pot and pour messed up my coffee.

This boiler is incredible. The design is perfect.You will see how to adjust the evil comes from the long spout amazed. Once I received the article, which I regularly test the water in them which scrolls, and I was impressed how smooth it was.

Hands down, this kettle is the control you need to make a perfect cup of coffee. It is even possible, the extraction flow, and I could immediately tell a difference in my coffee.

My friends own a very nice fully organic/fair trade coffee/tea shop in Woodstock, VT that I’ve spent a ridiculous amount of time in for the past 4 years or so. It’s where I gained a deeper appreciation of the entire world of coffee, from the soil to my belly. They’re beans are all excellent so when I got the Aeropress I took it right in for the first try. Other than liking the ratio of scoops-to-water to be 3 scoops to 4 on the plunger I vibe with everything about the product an directions. The brewing is fast, easy, and fun. The concentrated brew (I can’t call it espresso because the crema gets stuck in the beans during the process) that comes out is ripe for some more water to make the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had. It opens up so many new levels of flavor, deepening my awareness of the moment with every cup (the buzz doesn’t hurt either). Cleanup is one of my favorite parts because of the complete absence of redundant complexity and ease-of-use in the design. The only improvement I can thing of is to increase the height of the brewing chamber because 4 scoops with level 4 water comes awfully close to the top, but I like the flavor of 3 scoops more anyways. Also, glass would be nice to fully eliminate any plastic leaching, though it’s obviously high-grade and the brew time short enough that I’m sure the effect is nil. But still, it’d be nice. Maybe have the plastic one for traveling and a larger glass home version. That’d be sweet. I’ve yet to try it with loose green tea/herbal infusions but I’m sure it will perform perfectly. Thank you so much Alan Alder, your stuff always impresses me with it’s elegant simplicity and perfect functionality. BUY IT!!!

HIC No. 4 Filter Cone, Porcelain Review

Bought two of these to replace our old plastic filter cones. The hole in the bottom is slightly larger than the one in the plastic cone, so the coffee drips through more quickly – but I haven’t noticed it being any weaker as a result. We use #2 filter papers which do not quite reach to the top of the cone, so you have to be careful not to overfill with water or you will get grounds in your cup. But once you get used to its personality quirks you get a very good cup of coffee. I like being able to clean it with a rinse of hot water and knowing it is really clean – I was never sure with the dark brown plastic.
